Sailor Jerry if your after a more traditional spiced rum that is affordable and good.
Bacardi Oakheart if you're after a new experience with rum, spiced with cinnamon, it works beautifully if paired with ginger beer. Worth trying.
white rum is worthless

Jamaican tastes like rubbing alcohol and molasses.
Spiced Gold tastes like syrup.
White tastes like thin rubbing alcohol.
Oakheart tastes like vanilla syrup.

White is acceptable but mediocre for cocktails.
Spiced Gold and Oakheart are sickeningly sweet but cheap and not overly offensive for mixing with soda or juice. Can be shot easily if you just want to get fucked up.
