Rate my cornbread /ck/. Ingredients:
>1 cup cornmeal
>1 cup whole wheat flour
>1 + 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
>1/2 teaspoon baking soda
>1/4 cup canola oil
>1 + 1/4 cups whole milk
>1 large egg
>1 teaspoon salt
>1 teaspoon black pepper
>1/2 teaspoon cayenne
>1/2 teaspoon powdered chipotle
Baked for 30 minutes in a 10 inch cast iron skillet greased with butter.

use butter or browned butter in place of the Canola oil. If you have to use vegetable oil , use something like avocado oil.
