German Döner. If you go to a good, popular Döner shop here, you will never fall for another sandwich again. Every part is fresh (meat can be shit if you are in a shit, cheap store though) and delicious. Roasted meat, crunchy salad, a nice combo of delicious sauces, a squeeze of acidy and yummy lime or lemon juice on top of the meat, stable and golden brown bread around the top and the back to keep the Döner from falling apart or ruining your appearance like a fucking American burger and it also is big enough to make you not hungry anymore. Prices in comparison to the size are great.

I have been to quite many countries, but nothing was able to beat this sandwich.

If you are ever in Germany, try either Mustafas Gemüsekebap in Berlin or the Wuppergrill in Wuppertal. There are of course other great locations.

There is also another sandwich kalled "Köfte" if you are interested. It is getting more popular right now and is basically a baguette with onions, salad and long Turkish meatballs and spices. Also quite delicious. I love living here sometime.

It is prepared with breakfast/smoked salmon (means: not cooked, not grilled), a crunchy and fresh salad, white-grey or black bread-bun and the most important ingredient: The honey-mustard-sauce, which makes all of this taste absolutley fucking great.

Consult google images? It's an old recipe commonly eaten by outdoor fires and/or by vacationers and campers because all the ingredients need no refridgerator, and because fire-roasted marshmallow is wonderful.

They vary in length or head; but many are the approximate size of your average pool/billiards stick. A few have 3 prongs, sometimes offset if meant for meat, and some even have decorative heads if for meat. Two across, especially with a minor curve seems the most utilitarian though.

I just can't believe how we used to clean them lakeside though. We'd use the finer sand to rub the excess meat and coal off before sterilizing them in the fire for another braut or mellow.

Texan-German cousins eat something similar but made with raw beef instead of pork. We call it "parisa", and I don't know where that name came from. Lean raw beef, onion, pickles, salt and pepper. Some people add cheese, some don't. Younger generations will eat with jalapenos, but the old people don't.

I was in Tunisia as a 9 year old boy. My family and I along with some other Westerners from the yacht we were aboard were forcibly taken by government troops into a room where we had to sit for several hours as they tried to make us buy rugs with US dollars. Fun times.

We waited them out and they eventually returned our passports and let us go on our way. It was a cool visit anyway, but I could have gone without the strong-arm tactics. This was in the 1980's, FWIW.

This is my local sandwich (burgers have already been posted):

Taylor ham is pork roll, not spam. They're not the same thing. For one, spam is insanely salty, taylor ham isn't salty at all. TH is a lot closer to canadian bacon in taste and consistency, but canadian bacon is smokier. Spam is made by using starch to bind pork, TH is ground up pork that is just smashed together so tight that it kinda solidifies into one solid mass.

Clearly, the US doesn't have a monopoly on fat-causing cuisine. Also, we wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all those nigger women. They are fat as fuck, with beaner women coming in a close second:

* African American women have the highest rates of being overweight or obese compared to other groups in the U.S. About four out of five African American women are overweight or obese.
* In 2015, African Americans were 1.4 times as likely to be obese as non- Hispanic whites.
* In 2015, African American women were 60 percent more likely to be obese than non-Hispanic white women.
* In 2011-2014, African American girls were 50% more likely to be overweight than non-Hispanic white girls.
