So I'm visiting some friends in India, and they have a huge craving for New York style bagels. Unfortunately they're in a somewhat remote region, and I'll be traveling for at least three days. What would be the best way of keeping those bagels as fresh as possible?

Just throw them in your luggage, you don't need a container. But a few hours before you see them you eat them so you can be the mama bird and puke it back up for them.

if they are proper boiled bagels, the crust will let themkeep longer. thats the whole point, the vendors could sell them on a stick, for days, in poland. pure utilitarian food.
