I've got a bunch of chicken but don't know how to cook, what do I do with it?

>> No.9471979

chop bite-sized, dump into a rice cooker with a packet of whatever shitty rice-a-roni or dehydrated side mix plus a bunch of rice, stir, press button.

Google a recipe for baked chicken and rice, or baked chicken casserole. It's damn hard to fuck those up.

the thicker the meat the more of a chance you have of it coming out raw due to your inexperience. Cut it into thin strips, marinade it with soy sauce, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic, then toss in a hot oiled pan and cook till you can't see raw meat any more, then cook for another couple minutes for good measure. Serve on top of rice and pour the pan juices on top

Put it in a sous vide bath for 1.5 hours with a marinade of your choice. The add a sear using a kitchen torch. Make soy sauce caviar and place it on a Romain lettuce leaf. Add the chicken to the plate as well. Sprinkle crushed bread crumbs over the chicken using your own favorite recipe. Time it such that the ice cream machine will have completed by the time you finish the chicken. Yielding a refreshing soft serve of almond and cherry. This will all pair with any delicate red wine but I’d actually go with a Pinot.

plant it in the ground and wait for even more chicken to grow

>chicken parmesan
>chicken alfredo
>deep fried chicken
>chicken tenders
>chicken w/ veggies and rice
>chicken and rice
>baked/pan fried chicken
>chicken stir fry
>chicken fried rice
>chicken noodle soup

Google the recipes. Most of them are brainless and require no effort other than not cooking it too hot or too long.

I'll give you a simple as fuck recipe, one not even a beginner can fuck up:
>cut chicken up into sizeable chunks of your liking
>boil pasta (any will do, your preference )
>roll chicken in egg and then breadcrumbs
>fry it up in a pan
>add chicken to finished pasta
>add two cans of cream of mushroom soup
voila

Perfect, now I don't have to make a chicken thread.

I'm from /fit/ so chicken is a pretty big staple in my diet but I'm getting sick of what i've been doing with it, which is either just mixing pan-cooked chicken into pasta sauce or using basic shit like salt and pepper, throwing it over rice and adding soy sauce and sriracha. What can I do to make my chicken less bland when I cook it with different carbs like rice/pasta/quinoa?

Try flattening it (or butterflying it), then dredge it in seasoned flour, then brown it on both sides in a pan.

Pretty much this. Chicken parm is easy. Alfredo usually takes some effort for the sauce, but if you keep your eye on it you won't fuck up. Fried chicken can be nice if you learn how to properly season it. Chicken noodle soup is great too, especially with homemade egg noodles. You can make them for cheaper than you can buy them at the store. Just make sure the noodles are consistent in size and not too thick. Chicken fajitas are nice too. Find a nice recipe (I'd pick one that includes a marinade) and go nuts. I add diced potatoes to mine sometimes because >white trash and it makes a good filler.

Season well, slap it onto oven dish with some olive oil, bake for half an hour at 180C, tear apart afterwards, hot sauce on top.
