Tomatoes are indigenous to the Americas and foreign to European cuisine. Only brown people unironically enjoy them. Potatoes as well.

so when does "foreign" become native? 100 years, 500 years, 1000 years? and try telling an italian that they are A: Brown, and B: eating a food not native to them. most italians will defend the tomato unironically, and will kill you if you say its not authentic italian food.

>> No.9467979

organic, dry farmed tomatos from the farmers market, room temperature, never refrigerated, with olive oil, salt. the perfect food.

Ask the East Asians that colonized the Americas and killed the pre-existing people there how long it took for them to be considered "native". Italians south of Rome are most certainly brown people, like Spaniards or Portuguese people. Anywhere the Uyymad or Ottoman empires touched, or the dozens of Caliphates established in southern Europe in between those occupations. Go to Northern Italy, tomatoes aren't part of their cuisine. Lots of cream, butter and wine based sauces. Considering the Italian Navy and Army exist exclusively to taxi Africans to Europe at this point, it's safe to say they won't "kill" anyone.
