>Cook "Barbecue"
>Smoke meats for 10 hours with some pepper
>Dump the whole bag of sugar onto the meat when its done

Why do you Americans do this? Your meat is as sweet as cake.

depends on the sauce you use. also you could just use it as a dipping sauce if you dont want it.

Chill, us Americans are the best country so let us do things how we want before you get a couple nukes dropped on ya.

If you've ever had true American barbecue you'd not feel this way.

Carolina barbecue, especially eastern style, does not use sweet sauces.

Well, it's not really a whole bag of sugar. Some use honey, some use molasses and chances are if someone's making their own sauce or rubs, it's a significantly smaller amount of sugar than the stuff in a bottle for the sheer merit that it's not meant to be preserved for about a year or so to increase shelf life since homemade rubs are meant for just that day.

So it's not a whole bag, it's up to a cup at best if someone's making a batch for a large (talking 100 people or so) party to as little as say, a couple of teaspoons, maybe 1 1/2 tops for a modest sized one.

Either way, a whole bag of sugar is retarded even if you are exaggerating. Maybe don't go to a chain place for barbecue and try visiting a Southern state or a black owned pit grill.

Things Americans MUST apologise for:
>Bacon weave
>Luther Burger
>Ranch
>Craft beer cancer
>Juicy Lucy
>Tex Mex
>'go 'za

and the entirety of what's going on in this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_sandwiches
Claiming to invent the cheese sandwich? I know Americans can't into irony, so that excuse is void.

this last part especially, the candied meat meme is literally something white southerners fooled themselves into liking because blacks and mexicans couldn't afford to dump that much sugar in
