So whay's the acceptable cooldown period before you adopt a new dog?
6 months?
A year?

That's totally up to you anon. I think the problem for a lot of people is they feel guilty over the idea of trying to replace their little buddy, but in truth there is no replacement. Both doggos are two different buddies, forever to be remembered fondly.

I know people who adopt less than an hour after they put a pet down.

Francis was a good dog, and it's sad that he passed away. Especially so suddenly (for us). He lived a long live though. He was like, 12 or 14 when he passed.

I wouldn't mind seeing a cute little pupper 'protege' of Francis take the torch however.

Let's send her clones of Francis. This is feasible in some way I imagine. We have the technology.

It'll take a while before we'd start seeing it in videos, though. There's no way a lil pupper is going to be well trained enough to stay in that little dog bed and not jump on top of all the food.

that's why you need to breed your dog and adopt at least one of the puppies.

the parent dies eventually but you keep his legacy with you, that's what my family has been doing since we had our first puppy.

She just needs to get another new dog and make his narration in an Italian accent rather than a French one so it's more new
