to answer op's question, I shoot for shit that got a good calorie/mass ratio. rice is a good example, any kind of raw or cured meat, fruits and vegetables, etc. you can get bloated eating two pounds of strawberries, but it's only like 300 calories. I cared more about macros at the start of my diet, but I give less of a shit now and not much has changed. ymmv

yesterday I had: Bacon and eggs then for lunch Roast chicken with asparagus braised in the chicken drippings. Then I had a leftover breast so I made a buffalo chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing for dinner. I lose about 2 - 3bls a week.

Yes, just avoid carbohydrates. A hamburger patty with cheese melted over it, then eat it without a bun. Tuna salad on a lettuce leaf. Grilled pork. Mushroom omelet fried in butter, with bacon on the side.

No. You stupid fuck. Fat has 1g = 9cal, and carbs 1g = 4cal. The problem comes from staying in the proper portions.
Eat what you want, just eat less of it. That is how i shook off 20 kg.
