Favorite food shows? Non-Food Network shows, streaming shows, and food-related documentaries also welcome.

I like watching Chopped because it lets me feel superior to professionals who overcook things and forget to put specific elements on their plates. Fucking idiots!

Best cooking show of all time was a regional PBS show called "Cookin Cheap" in the late 80s

anything on pbs or create tv

food network has gone to fucking hell twice over
>game shows and reality shows 90% of the time
>the other 10% is "cooking" shows hosted by d-list celebrities and bloggers showing you how to turn a can of soup, a bag of potato chips, and canned chicken into a casserole
It's like they stand outside of E!'s or vh1's offices and give a show to anyone who gets rejected. They take them into a studio and just have them re-enact cooking with jack recipes.

It's not on anymore, but The Cajun Kitchen with Justin Wilson. He was awesome because he'd get shitfaced on national tv. Whenever he cooked with wine, he'd hold the measuring cup over the pan, pour til it was overflowing, dump the wine in, then throw in an extra splash, then take a long tug off the bottle and go back to cooking. Then at the end of the show, he'd sit down with his meal and drink the rest of the wine. It was brilliant fucking television.
