Hey. I'm bringing marinated grilled pork for a work potluck tomorrow. I was wondering how best to keep it occupied until people eat it though. I can either refrigerate it and serve it cold, or in the morning put it in a crockpot on low. Would that do good for heating it up or would it fuck up the meat in any way? By fuck up I mean the texture or anything. There's no ovens at work only microwaves and I'd rather not microwave 5~6lbs of pork cubes. Tbh it's pretty good cold, but I don't want to turn off my coworkers by serving them cold meat.

If you keep it just below 60 C internal temp for several hours in a crockpot you're going to give everyone parasites you dumb fuck

And yeah it probably will ruin the texture too

It's already cooked asshole. Parasites aren't going to just materialize. And what potluck goes for several hours? Just do the crockpot and stick it in the fridge afterwards.
