That sauce is probably just "au jus" which is french for diluted concentrated stock goo or powder. Now if you can find a good beef place, or at home it can be divine. The reason its called a French Dip is because its served on a french roll and to make it edible to sell old bread you are supposed to dip the sandwich one bite at a time into the Au Jus. Im making some tomorrow actually, Ill have at least two, with plenty of horseradish as well.

I got really excited when I heard some hipster was opening a ramen shop in my town, but this was the result.

The noodles taste OK, but don't have the right "bite" unless they're undercooked. It's got frozen peas and corn, and the broth is entirely bland. And they ask $10 per bowl.

I don't take photos of my food like some instagram whore, but I got lamb biriani that was supposed to be lamb, vegetables, and rice with spices. Was a huge bowl of rice, no veg anywhere that I could find, and some crappy cuts of lamb that were mostly bone, skin, and fat. Their hummus was the best I ever had though. The seasoning mix was good, though. I'd probably eat there again but not order anything with rice in it.

Another German here. My mom usually paired Schnitzel with boiled, skinned potatoes served with hollandaise sauce and some form of mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, cauliflower and green beans is a popular combination know as "Leipziger Allerlei"). Another good combination of side dishes for Schnitzel are fries and cucumber salad (made from sliced cucumber, sour cream, seasonings and dill). It's also important to serve some lemon with the Schnitzel so you can take off a bit of the edge off the fatty breading.
