Local tex-mex place I ate at recently had this stuff. And fuck, it's just perfect. Slightly chunky, smoky and with a decent amount of heat. This is my favorite sauce at the moment.

Wow...my aunt brought me a bottle from her trip to LA. It's not bad but I think my expectations for a cajun hot sauce were too much. It reminds me too much of the hot sauce my local gas station has as one of their dippers but with the seeds still in the sauce.

It adds to barbecue sauce like a champ though.

>> No.7032351

Sambal is fucking vile. It's not even hot and it just tastes like vinegar that has gone bad.

Hot sauce does taste good, but it's mostly vinegar. So I'm trying to cut down. Now I use a little bit of cayenne pepper instead.

I've heard the Garlic Tobasco is tasty, but I hardly ever see it in stores. Is it worth picking up if I see it? I usually just stick with the habenero kind

Tabasco Habanero is the MINIMUM.

I like Habanero puree for a lot of stuff. I also have ghost pepper sauce that I use if I don't want a lot of flavor, but want to add heat.

My go-to seasonings:
>fresh habanero
>habanero powder
>crush red Thai chili

If you like crushed red pepper on pizza, try the Thai variety. It's actually hot. It's also great in 90% of Asian style dishes.

>>7031657
This shit tastes like Tabasco ketchup. The black variety tastes like spicy dirt.

>> No.7032604

Had a great deal a few weeks ago, there was this store near me which sells all kinds of stuff, one of them is alternative mainstream food, like food that never gets in my country for example a different kind of pringles or a weird 7up flavour. Stuff like that.

A while back they sold me a shitload of Jalapeno Tabasco for 5 cents a bottle since they were about to expire.

I ended up with about 10 bottles of that shit, which is great since I can now drizzle my food in that stuff.

Not hot enough and too tomatoey

Good although vinagary so not suitable for everything

Good flavour although not very general-purpose and quite expensive

>Franks buffalo
Shit, not hot at all, not worth it

>Sainsburys habanero sauce
Much better than I expected, very hot and good flavour

This is my nigga right here. Habanero all the way. If not Tabasco then this kind. I switch up. Organic harvest definitely has a bit more heat. Better for chili and...everything else. I prefer the tabasco for tex-mex food.

Sriracha might as well be ketchup to me. Not sure why everyone has a boner for that weaksauce. The lightest amount of heat I enjoy is the regular tabasco, and even that is a little light hearted. I use 15-20 drops. People at Chipotle look at me like I'm nuts. I am though.
