Literally the only way to eat it.

brocolli and cheese is pretty tasty, but adding butter and cheese to vegetables just seems counter productive and unnecessary if your over the age of like 14.

Steamed broccoli with a dipping sauce of garlic and sesame oil.

best broccoli i've ever had:

>steamed
>drizzle with ample good extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice

the oil slightly sweetens the lemon juice. really unbelievable.

not OP but I'm going to try that. whats the ratio?

Cheese based Alfredo sauce would be better than nacho cheese.

don't know about ratio. i've never had it not taste good.

i just steam (stovetop because no microwave here) however much broccoli i want to eat, then give it a good drizzle of olive oil all over, making sure to get it into the flowery part of the brocoli. then i usually squeeze half a lemon onto it.

best part is you get all the excess liquid on the bottom of the bowl and you can just dip the broccoli into it as you go.

got this recipe from a divorced mother of a former piano student. she used to invite me over to the house when her son was gone and cook me dinner and try to seduce me. she wasn't attractive enough to warrant that kind of complication. she was always going on and on about some book Eat For Your Blood Type or something. She had all kinds of weird recipes. but this one always stuck with me.
