Hi /ck/ my name is Arnold and I've stopped drinking alcohol, today is my first day. What kinds of foods do non drinking people eat on? All I have are a bag of frozen meatballs and a potato, uncooked and lots of mustard.

Hello Arnold.
Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life!
I am a non-drinker and I love meatballs and potatoes. I would suggest you bake the potato, eat it, and then make a shopping list!

Hello Arnold u worthless drunk

Hi Arnold!

Eat candy. Apparently this helps cut down on cravings. As for actual food, you can eat anything as long as it doesn't contain alcohol. If you see a recipe that calls for alcohol, you can always substitute some chicken broth or even just water.

Sounds good, I didn't think of candy. My sister says I should buy fruit juice and popsicles for cravings since alcohol has lots of sugar.

first day's easy, third or fourth is hardest, and sixth is basically out of the woods. Then the void sets in, and it will drive you back to drug use.

You won't care about food much once the insomnia begins. Hopefully you weren't far gone enough to get the shakes.

Hello friend, this is also my first day not drinking.
You will probably crave carbs, which is common when people stop drinking. I had mushroom ravioli with pesto sauce for dinner, and I will probably have pasta again tomorrow, because I'm still craving it. Give you body what it wants for right now, just the first three or four days, while you're getting over the alcohol withdrawl. Then, change to a nice clean diet of lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, leans meats, nuts and seeds, fish, and healthy carbs like wholegrain rice. Be sure to drink plenty of water as well, and some nice Sleepytime tea at night to help you sleep.

m8 I was considering converting to Islam until I finally finished reading the qur'an and really delved into the hadith. m8 it's bad news tbh.
