I quit caffeine at 15. I'm almost 26 now.

I cut back about 6 years ago I guess but never cut it out completely. I prefer juice now which might be less healthy honestly but I am on the fence regarding whether or not to accelerate toward death and feel stupid for not having a gun ready. This is all over thinking about whether to consume sugar.

A lot of the new diet sodas taste pretty good now. Cherry Coke Zero and Sprite Zero doesn't have any strange aftertaste as you would find on a Diet Coke. No sugar. No Calories. What's not to like?

We did an experiment with eggs in cups of water, vinegar, and soda. After that it just smelled and tasted horrible.
I didn't even mind, I wanted to like it because my mom liked it so it was the only junk food constantly in stock in the house, but even at that age I decided it was for the best.

Now that I've given up alcohol, I'm drinking (zero-calorie) soda again. Just a couple of cans per day, but I want to cut that out too. I just like the fizzy burn of carbonated beverages. Been drinking a lot of club soda and lime, and sugar-free tonic.

It fucking sucks not drinking, because beer is the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and bitter, with a nice feeling going down the throat.

It's sad, but I had a pretty deep seated addiction to it. I wasn't even drinking water at all. I cut it out completely and replaced it by drinking more water, coffee and the occasional juice. I had a soda a few days ago and thought it was super sugary and it didn't taste very good. Never felt better.

That's the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Neither tea nor coffee contain sugar, and aside from the sugar in juice (and the fermented sugars in alcohol...), the only cocktails that have added sugar are ones that already use soda, which is a moot point, especially as only kids drink those kinds of drinks, or even drink cocktails.

Canadafag here. I started drinking soda when I was 4. Soda or juice until I was 12, then just soda. Energy drinks and soda 15-20. All those years only drank water at sportsball practices/games. Diet soda 20-23, very little water. Nothing but water and soda water for the last 2 years. I want to start drinking tea but I never do.
