Personally I think 120 minute is a waste of money, its waaaay too alcoholic. The booze completely neutralizes any other taste that the beer would have.

Celebration is a seasonal beer for them hitting shelves in late fall/early winter I think (I recall buying some last December). SO the one you have has probably bn on shelves for ~6-9 months which is not ideal for an IPA. It don't think you have to worry about it being objectively bad in any sense but its won't be as good as it was fresh

Had some Bridgeport Brewing Double Red Ale and some Ayinger Privatbrauerei Celebrator Doppelbock the other day.

The Red Ale was pretty good, although I could simply not KNOW what a good red ale is since that was my first time trying specifically a red ale. It had a nice dark, but not stout dark, aroma and color to it. I'm currently marinating a chicken breast in it.

The Doppelbock had this real interesting molasses taste to it. It was smooth, but not so smooth that it was "slimey".

I enjoyed both of them.

I went to one of the many great Ethiopian places in DC yesterday and ordered this with me meal. It's a stout but it really drinks like a lager.

It was great, malty and dark but not too heavy. It tastes a bit like molasses. I asked the guy at the counter where I could get it and he said he has a special supplier. Bummer, I'd exclusively stock this if it was sold around me.

it was okay, got me pretty drunk but overall the flavor left something to be desired.

NO marshmallow, just molasses and a bit of graham with lots and lots of charcoal. very burned flavor.

All the basic stuff they make like their IPA, 312, Honkers Ale, etc gets mass produced at InBev facilities mostly around New York. All those beers have pretty much dropped to Blue Moon levels of faux-craft beer crap.

The good part is that their original facility is now open to make good stuff, and the original team still works on those. That's why you see awesome GI one-offs now. There's actually a big enough supply of their Bourbon County stuff that normies can actually try it and you can get the sisters series at any liquor store across the coutnry now.

It's an English beer, of course there's no alchohol bite to it.
With that said, the reason I don't like most chocolate stouts is because they tend to be weak, watery, and bitter(like cocoa go figure.)
There are some stronger ones out there I do want to try sometime though, but they're regional beers.
