1. New York
2.Connecticut
3. New Jersey
4.Massachusetts
5.Pensylvania
6.Rhode Island
7.Maine (muh lobster roll)
9.Vermont
10.New Hampshire

New Hampshire does not have good food in my opinion.

NY,and NJ are interchangeable.
I know Connecticut has some good food, but I would not put it over Bawwston.
Boston is probably the only city that makes it's signature dish better than anyone else. (chowder)
PA should be at the bottom of the list.Their pizza is shit tier, and I can get better cheesesteaks at my local pizzeria.
I'm not too familiar with VT,and NH.
Rhode Island for the tier of the sluts alone should be top 6 in any debate.
Main has lobster so, thats respectable.

>NY,and NJ are interchangeable.
Northern NJ and NY interchangeable. New Jersey does not have it's own food, just the state around it by region.

Connecticut is more like NY or Southern England.

Pennsyltucky is a shit state full of jackasses and inbred faggots. Outside of Mennonites and other Quaker like communities and German food the state has nothing going for it.

Vermont and New Hampshire are great places to find typical American food in small quiet towns with real down to Earth people. Outside of mountains of snow it's a great place to retire.

Rhode Island is this weird little place that you should drive through as quickly as possible. If you find yourself in RI stop at the third exit on I95 and eat at the Wendy's or Tim Hortons and get some gas at the Stop and Shop and no where else.

Maine is all homespun and floksy. Just be careful of any place that has thick fog banks after 1pm.

NY =/= NYC though, which is one of the great things about the state

NYC wins by volume, so many good places of such variety, in both style and quality - lots of food you can get nowhere else, but also EVERYTHING you CAN get somewhere else

Back in the days with my brother we were doing raids on Portland.
We were living in a small quebec city near the border and Portland was a 3 hrs drive.
We'd get obnoxiously drunk and cruise the local hipster chix.
We had this joke that the worse we were speaking english the easier it was to get them.

Holy shit, Providence RI is a city full of fresh culinary school grads from JWU, you have clearly never been here. Or to the coast, where the oyster industry is huge. Or to Newport's Muse restaurant in the Vanderbilt mini mansion. Or read any recent travel reviews. Or, ok, maybe you have shitty taste, and that's fine too.

Boston is pretty awesome. CT has some of the best pizza I've found, kind of surprising. Portland ME has a really cool food scene, love Duck Fat. Seriously though, what can't you get in NY?
