Im looking to buy a nice bottle of alcohol for special occasions.
I would like most of the focus to be on scotch...but am open other suggestions.
What is the best one I can get for lets say under 300$

Homebrew:
Moonshine doesn't smell too much and won't light on fire.

Foreshots burned blue but hearts won't light and upon looking in it it seems something viscus. Could it be the wash didn't ferment enough and there's water?
