You just put them in a bowl and pour boiling water or broth over them, don't try to boil them. They will get tender and need to be drained pretty fast.

If you want them for soup, put the noodles in your bowl and pour soup over them at the last minute.

My wife tried boiling it and it turned to goo like yours. I tried soaking it in hot water and it was a little too al dente to be kind.

And yes there are instructions on the package but apparently I am a complete fucking moron.

Fashion the noodle in a bowl, then pour the spicy soup.
