Hell yeah and their damn good, I'm almost out, I bought a 3/4 oz bottle of powder, it costed about $25, one shake of that is pretty hot, but not just hot, it's flavorful too. I prefer chocolate habaneros but they're not in season and they're a pain in the ass to get. Not only are they really hot and taste great but the heat will last during a long cooking process unlike IMO orange habaneros.

Not my favorite super hot but at least they taste better than a butch t. Really enjoy the building heat compared to others that just attack the senses right away.

Nearly all peppers have a summer grow season so they are in season now. Also I do agree that the chocolate variety is much better tasting. They have a peach variation that is fantastic. $25 for reaper dust is a bit pricey unless that includes 6-8 for shipping,

I ate two of these raw (dried but sort of rehydrated), and it gave a terrible, terrible stomach ache. I'm never going to mess with superhots again.

It's really shitty that people don't address the stomach issue enough so that normal people trying for the first time know what to expect. Always eat superhots whether its fresh, dehydrated, powdered or sauced with a full stomach and for extra stomach coating protection drink some milk. One thing that always helps me if I start cramping is holding an ice pack on my stomach where it hurts. The lower the capsaicin the less likely this is going to happen. I find that I can handle about a million shu peppers easily.

No but I ate a fresh ghost once, no plans to do it again.

If I had a five gallon pot of chili, I would use two ghost peppers. Everyone would say it was super spicy.

had reaper extract but never reaper. I'm not a pussy who can't handle the heat but I do believe anything above a habanero/bonnet is just for heat and doesn't have enough flavor to merit the rediculousness
pic related, Carolina reaper

Scotch bonnet is very hot but has a fruity flavour.

>> No.6641762

Hot as HELL.
Low yielding plants compared to the trini's.
Mixed them with garlic, lime ,salt and froze i jars.
Nice for cooking with but too powerful as a dipping sauce.
I like white habs now.

>> No.6641836

Nope i haven't
Hottest one i tried was a Naga.
Right now waiting for my Naga Viper and Superhot Beast to bear fruit.

rant
But those bitchy chinenses just keep dropping all the blossoms.
Same last year.. only got three nagas out of a couple dozen blossoms and maybe a dozen habaneros from a hundred blossoms.

Yeah, my friend had some last time we were doing a meat smoke for the church. His wife brought some beef stew and he told me to put some of the pepper in there. I did. It was pretty hot but manageable.

Well, a few hours later when everyone was gone but three of us (the ones doing the smoking) he challenged me to take a pure bite from it. Did so, and I think it was a mistake. I started hiccuping because it took my breath away. I drank his water, my water, and then ran to the church to drink out of the fountain. My eyes were watering like crazy. It took about thirty minutes for the pain to go away.

I'd do it again.
