Make stir fry's with very rich sauces.
Use fresh vegetables, not frozen.
Harden the fuck up.

Make stews?
Boil and mash potatoes and carrots and mix them with ground meats?

What are you usually eating? Give us something to work with here.

Pair them with cream and lots of fat. Slowly ween yourself off the fat and heavy flavouring. You'll gradually get used to eating them.

Try a different approach or recipe. Most people over boil vegetables, this makes them taste bad. Here are a few recipes I like to use:

It's not the taste that is revolting; it's all the fat, sugar and salt they don't stand for

Pretty much what I do. I love onion and peppers, but I have trouble with a lot of root vegetables and greens. It's mostly just mask the (lack-of) flavor.

The only bland vegetable I can think of is zucchini

zucchini > cucumber > celery

Zucchini is actually pretty nice, imo. I like to grate some into my rice and its also nice fried. Coat in bread crumbs and make zucchini chips.

This. You just have to force yourself to eat them. You can actually train yourself to like things that way.

How do you find all vegetables atrocious? They come in, like, every single flavour.

>> No.6585658

Let your pallet develop by enjoying the taste of a plain vegetable. Force yourself to eat them. I have a friend who I have never seen eat a something that wasn't fried chicken n fries or rice and beans. It's really sad tbh.

If you don't have a food allergy, its possible to make yourself like any kind of food that people around the world like to eat. You just have to get used to it.

My aunt teaches in a school district with a lot of new immigrants and she said without fail most of the Asian kids hate pizza and cheese at the beginning of the year and then after having it constantly at lunch, birthday parties, etc they love it by the end of the year.

Fucking amazing to me that this isn't common knowledge. People think they're biologically prohibited from enjoying particular foods. It's a mindset I couldn't ever entertain having; bugs are basically the only food that I'm somewhat squeamish about.

Wrap them in prosciutto and bake them. Nothing else required.

One of the most bomb finger foods to bring to a gathering. I have never had to bring any home because they always disappear rapidly.

Me too. I'll go to a mongolian bbq and try to sneak in a few more brocolli, sprouts (at my own discretion) and let them cook it. Some tastes are acquired but takes multiple attempts.

Also, you can eat more fruits: rasberries, blueberries, mangoes, plums instead of those nasty-ass red peppers, olives and okra (YuK). Costs more but better in the long run.
