Mexican pro tipo, you want the small yellow corn tortillas, or the hand made white corn tortillas. The white tortillas from a plastic package are no good. A warm lot in a paper wrapping are very good as well if they have been made less than 30 minutes prior to taco time. Pickled carrots and jalapeños are a no no in tacos. A Chile toreado is what you want. Just set a fresh jalapeño on a skillet and heat it up until it starts to peel cook all sides, no oil. Onion and cilantro are fine just don't overdo them. Salsas are a must. 3/10 would bitch about in spanish.

holy shit, I will admit I am gringo but when I go to Mexico I notice this is exactly right. Why don't they put those in? Is it cus >muh tradition or has it proven not to be that great?

presumably anon, not wise in the way of tacos, doesn't know about the big tub of pickled everything that exists at every quality taqueria, and thinks those are just some non-pickled carrot slices.

Kek. they tortillas were small and yellow, the flash from the shitty phone camera washed them out. They were hand made I know its hard to tell but whatever. They certainly weren't big white ones from a package

the carrot and jalapeno eh whatever it was my choice. this sounds like someone bitching because I put raw onion instead of cooked on a hamburger, whatever its what I like

I had salsa I just hadn't put it on yet when I snapped the pic, picked up red and green salsa because I don't give a fuck

The cilantro might look like a lot from my terrible photography skills but really it was minimal, as a person who can't stand a lot and just forgot to get them without it wasn't even noticeable.

Thanks anyway glad i would give you something to bitch about.

As another anon has already said carrots should be eaten separately as they can be great as is ... they don't really compliment tacos for the most part ... radishes and beans are in the same category .... pickled jalapenos are about the same, with them being a very very poor substitute for actual salsa tacowise.

Beans in tacos are a no-no as the are nothing more than a filler ... put my beans on the side I want meat in my taco ... should I want beans in my taco i will ask for some on the side or grab some out of the pot otherwise I believe I'm being a bit ripped off. Beans in all reality are great in tacos just not something worth paying for as it is a cheater type filler.
