Put all your cooked rice in there. Heresy in my book but I might as well use this rice I guess

Your oven wasn't hot enough

>> No.6559806

shoulda just just left rice out and made meatballs with a nice black pepper sauce to eat on the rice instead. that rice is just gonna absorb all the fat and turn into a nasty mush.

Rice is an underrated filler for meatloaf. Whenever I have leftover rice, that's what I do with it too.

I'm conflicted about the rice because I've always made awesome meat loaf without it, but everyone says it's a great filler for it.

OH well. Add salt, pepper, garlic, onions and parsley. I didn't have real bread so last week's hamburger buns will have to do

why do you keep your eggs in the fridge anyways?

I prefer room temp

That's where you're supposed to keep eggs.

they work better in most applications when you start from room temp in my opinion, and they don't spoil

Sure, but you take what you need out a half hour or so before you start baking. They do absolutely spoil. Where are you getting your ass backwards information from?

from having eggs in room temp without them spoiling

not forever of course, but a relatively long time

Here let me make this simple:

The way eggs are processed in the US, protective layers are removed from the exterior of the egg for the sake of 'cleaning'. Because of this, eggs will spoil if not kept refrigerated here.

Where as eggs in many other countries do not undergo the same process, still have this protection on the outside, and can sit at room temperature for many days on end without consequence.

tl;dr: eggs from different places require different things.

This thread is garbage.

Meatloaf looked gross covered in steak sauce. No finished pic. And the thread turned into an "E-bitchfest" about eggs in the fridge or room temp.

Typical /ck/ trash.
