tabasco is unique. nothing else tastes like it.

even it's louisiana-style cousins (e.g. texas pete, crystal, frank's) are very different.

tabasco's tastes "fresh" and "bright". it's likes like cilantro or cucumber, where it just adds this indescribable flavor of freshness.

how do they do it?

Agreed.
Im from Louisiana, and even here we generally dont use Tabasco. Its over powering and can really ruin your food,

Crystal hot sauce is what we mostly use.

Black Label is overpowering. A good hot sauce isn't about the heat, it's about the flavor.

I stayed at Belizean Shores. It's like 3 miles north of San Pedro.

I went to Neri's, El Fogun, Estelle's, Manny's Ice Cream shop, and bought almost all my breakfast from the burrito guy named Mario on the beach. He sold breakfast burritos for $5BZ and they were good as hell.

Also ate at the resort restaurants. Sandy point resorts seems to have food closer to the local cuisine than some of the other resorts, and they do a GREAT job with the American cuisine they offer just in case you want a burger.

Also pic related happened. Fresh coconut is good though.
