I took 4 years (plus victory lap) of hairstyling and aesthetics classes in highschool. We spent two weeks on perms, and it was the fucking worst.

Once the solution is on the hair, it basically turns into a gummy mess until you put the setting liquid on. I took a 5 inch hair, soaked it in solution and was able to stretch it to about 9 inches before it gave up and disintegrated.

and dont even get me started on the stench. I used to volunteer at music festivals, and other events that use the festival grounds and i would rather be on bathroom druggie check than to do perms again. Imagine the most putrid chemical smell, then add in a sour rotten egg smell.

bonus: that shit can and will blister and eat your skin. one kid had a hole in her glove and ended up with the nastiest shit going on.

Well as a longtime masao fan, there is much debate about this. Generally, the accepted theory about Masao is that he actually makes a pretty good living for himself. Doing what, I'm not exactly sure, but he has mentioned that he has a law degree in one of his videos. It's also known that he travels from his home in Montreal to the US pretty frequently for work. He's also had some issues with his wife with separating and hen getting back together. He went through a period where he made a lot of videos and then quit some time in 2010/2011. Then he made two new videos this past Christmas.

My personal theory is that he has at least two properties. If I had to guess, I would say he was rather depressed when he made most of his videos, and was likely drunk during a lot of them. I think he goes to the messy property when he's in the doghouse with his wife.

I can't explain it, but ever since I saw the steak video that I originally posted, I have been fascinated by this guy. In my honest opinion his videos are art whether he intends them to be or not. I have experienced a depth of emotions watching his videos that I never thought possible. The anxiety that builds as you know a fire is about to break out, the melancholy feeling I felt when he made a tequila sunrise and sipped it lying on his floor. It's really not about the cooking at all.
