What's the best flavor of any given chip brand? I'm talking Cheetos, Lays, Doritos, etc. What's that flavor you like so much you could snack on it all day long?

Any "kettle" style chip (Kettle, Poore's, Tim's, Lay's Kettle Cooked, etc) in either Jalapeno or Sea Salt & Vinegar.

Salt and Vinegar is a favorite of mine. Pringles are awesome but here in Poland they cost like 10 zł for a tube. I don't know what are the prices in the other countries but imagine paying 10 pounds, dollars or euros for a tube. Also we don't have any other cool brands like i see in these threads. I'd love to try something else but it seems that even bag of chips(burger english), crisps(muslim english) that is not sold here is consider something of high value in a special shops. Even if in other countries these bradns are mundame ones, not even top tier.

Salt and Vinegar is love
Salt and Vinegar is life

Salt and vinegar is A-number-one. Can't be beat.

BUT dill pickle is a very close second for me. It's not the easiest flavor to find though.

Is salt and vinegar an acquired taste?
I live in a country where that flavor is not common, and I had my family bring me over some salt and vinegar flavored chips once from a trip abroad (they love the stuff), and it was horrid.

I tasted one chip and stopped.

It was weird to me at first but I grew to love it very quickly. I don't know if that's the same for everyone though. Possibly you were given a shitty s&v chip. Or you just need to eat more of them. Or you can forget about it.

Hmm, it wasn't for me. They're sour, and salty, and delicious. But it can be a fairly divisive flavor here in America, a love it or hate it sort of deal.

I love the salt and pepper ridged Kettle chips. I also really loved that wasabi ginger Lays chip they were doing during that contest. I guess the whole thing was a bust because I've never seen any of the contest chips sold anywhere since.

>> No.6129913

i'm going to tell you niggers something right now, and that's that white wine and sour cream & onion chips go together pretty fucking nicely and you should try it. nom fucking nom. with ridges preferably.

also the utz crab chips are dope from time to time

but honestly cool ranch doritos are a hell of a great engineering project

My all-time favorite BBQ chip comes from Save-A-Lot, of all places. J. Higgs BBQ. Better than Lays.

Other than that, I can eat a shitload of Doritos and Funyuns.
