If the time comes when you have to sharpen your knife, use your triangle ruler from school to cut out a little template with the correct angle from a bit of wood (balsawood can be cut with a carpet knife, no need for a saw).

Set the wooden template on your stone, set the blade face on the template, "lock" your wrist, remove the template and sharpen your knife at the 100% correct angle.

Hate the video being all propoganda, but you can easily research individual points presented in it on your own. The tl;dw is tap water in a lot of first wold countries are more strictly regulated, tastes better, and is cheaper than bottled water. Bottled water is only seen as "cleaner" and "more pure" because of manufacturer's aggressive ad campaigns passing on false information.

>> No.6069017

Most people who think tap water is bad don't think it's bad because of their own research, rather because it's been socially taught to them at very young ages by parents either directly or indirectly.

Your parents always give you bottled water and scold you for drinking tap? Congrats, you've just been indoctrinated, and your parents are probably following what their parents did to them.

Same usually goes for people who think weed has terrible effects on par with hard narcotics.

If you're worried just have your water tested.

As for me personally? I do a lot of work on my own house. I've seen the condition of the pipes from doing a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, and also replacing one of the two water heaters. I don't have lead pipes or any issues with corrosion or crud inside them.

But it's not faster. I can do a single clove in about a two seconds. A whole head of garlic contains only about 20 or so useful cloves. So even if we assume you have to smack them one at a time, it still takes well under a minute to do it with a knife. It's faster still when you figure that you can smash more then one clove at a time.

With your method I have to shake for longer than that, plus it gets the jar dirty.

So I ask you again: why would I want to do that, when a knife is faster and gets fewer things dirty?

only at 70 mg/kg.

Water is fluoridated at 0.02-0.03 mg/kg.

You'd have to drink 350kg of water, or roughly 1400 8oz glasses in a week to even approach the lowest possible threshold of problems with over-fluoridation (discolored teeth) at 10mg/kg.

You'd die from WATER toxicity well before that.

>> No.6075117

Because, your teeth and bones need VERY VERY little fluoride to re-mineralize themselves while repairing normal wear and tear.

It's as effective as it needs to be.
Also, it doesn't bio-accumulate, it's either used to bond calcium and becomes something different, or is filtered by the kidneys and pissed out.

Here's a fun science experiment you can do at home!

1) Don't drink any water for 12 hours.
2) Drink 2 cups of water.
3) Wait for the pee
4) Collect pee and test for fluoride
5) Compare the fluoride levels of your urine to that of your tap water
6) use subtraction to see how little your body uses

In fairness (as someone who has been social), sometimes the attitude has to follow the behavior.

It's all cyclical, so you have to break the cycle somewhere and keep it broken for long enough for the rest of your life to begin to get in order and then face the fact that will take a long time and a lot of work.

This is more of a car of the answer can be pretty simple, just hard to accomplish.

Why? Since when does baking soda, peppermint oil, and coconut oil have fluoride in them?

Fluoride is a hazardous waste product from industrial plants in the USA. It costs a shit load of money for them to safely dispose of it. So, they sell it to municipalities to put into the water system. Instead of spending billions on disposing of it, they get paid millions to sell it. So long as the legal limit of fluoride is not exceeded, the FDA and EPA don't care.

I won't say those pipes don't exist. But I know for a fact that, at least in most Europe countries, fresh water pipes are corrosion protected. Additionally they are on a replacement schedule and mandatory water tests happen with samples in real life homes not at the source.

smaller piece of meat cook faster than a big ones. So when cooking pork, You can just slice/dice before starting cooking to half the cooking time, if not more. there's no such thing as "keeping juice inside" with pork anyway.
Also work for poultry, and boiled beef.
