Yeah, but campbells tastes ridiculously overcooked to me.

The best tomato soup I've had is a bisque that was mostly just good canned tomato pureed and finished with cream, strained. Seasoned well, obviously.

Remember to chop up some roma tomatoes in your soup this winter because the soup becomes thicker and romas are red in winter.

take five tomatoes whole. a piece of onion, optional, garlic, season lightly. throw it all on a sheet pan into the oven at any higher temperature. take out when tomatoes start to blister. add basil and toss into a blender. send through a strainer, bigger the hole the easier, into a pot. heat and add stock and/or cream. season to taste. done

I make Campbell's tomato good by starting off with a carton of small tomatoes cut up, sauté in olive oil with a bunch of spices and herbs, add chicken stock and red wine, boil for a couple minutes, add tomato soup. And mix, melt a bit of butter. And then it's doubled in size, doesn't Taste like Campbell's, and has actual tomatoes.

hahaha ok ok, here's one, it's really good with some bacon grease... that is cook up some bacon strips, then put the stuff from the can in there, mix mix mix, then put the water in and other assorted spices such as garlic, a dash of lime juice, and a dash of trinidad scorpian.

If you remove the bacon first you can either let it dry up and add the bits to the soup or save it or later, or just snack on them... snacking on them is tempting so I just usually break them up and put them into the soup where they soften up.

It would be cool if our veterans could have had a choice a choice such as that.

I never drink coffee, I never liked the taste of it. In fact the smell of it makes my stomach go off a bit. I used to have to walk by a starbucks on my way to work and the stench from the coffee then going into the subway was enough to make me move to a more expensive place within walking distance of where I worked.
