What does /ck/ think of my omelette?
It's supposed to be browned on the outside; if you were to look inside the eggs are much more tender as they approach the middle. I like my omelettes this way.

Generally not a fan of an omelette cooked that hard on one side, then folded in half. That's the norm in American restaurants, which is why I never order them. I like my eggs more under than over in terms of doneness.

I am guilty of the second charge.
I am also guilty of using shitty ham.
I suppose I'm guilty of not giving enough of a fuck about ingredients to dice up a high-quality ham steak or get pastured eggs or shred my own artisan cheese for the breakfast I have each morning.
The eggs were anything but crunchy and dense though. If anything, I think they might've been undercooked overall.

Is that when you quack while you're cooking?

OP, that omelette looks a little over-done. Also it looks like the thing was completely cooked before you added the ham.

I'd eat it but I might not like it.

I am an American, and this shit is the reason I never order omelettes (or eggs) in restaurants. The norm here is overcooked. Some states even have laws that eggs have to be overcooked or the place can't serve them.
