this post makes me consider the possibility and even erase all doubts that viral shill marketing is truly a thing, not on /ck/ or the whole internet, but real life in this world as we know it. people have been trying to eat healthier, and so much so successfully that someone actually needs to go up to them and tell them something that attempts to imply "drinking clean water is not cool" to desperately and very pathetically try to convince them to go back to soda and make unhealthy decisions.

water
coffee with milk
beer
tea plain
tea with milk
tea with lemon
wine
vinegar drinks
fruit juice
soda water with stuff
soda
everything else

i used to like soda when i was a kid but i didnt want cavities and diabeetus so i just stopped drinking it as i _GREW THE FUCK UP_. i tried soda the other week and it was so sweet it made me thirstier. fuck soda

Italian living in America here.

I've honestly never seen that done. Even friends of mine here who have children don't serve them milk at the dinner table though kids here do tend to drink milk with their lunches.
Another thing?
Yoghurt.
Lots of Americans eat yoghurt past midday. Not that it's common, mind you, but it's not rare, either. Whereas we look at it as something weird to do, they don't even think of it twice if someone does that.
It seems so minor to them but the idea of yoghurt outside of breakfast seems just... wrong to me.

It's not the only but is most certainly the most popular. Seems like nine out of ten times I see yoghurt being eaten its a sweetened variety and/or with fruit preserves. I've never, not even once, noticed anyone buying plain, wholefat yoghurt, let alone eating it.
