Is Sbarro really that bad?

>> No.5746327

>>5746322
It went out of business down here, so I think so.

>> No.5746328

It's better than your average chain pizza, but that isn't saying much.

>> No.5746332

>>5746322
Who said it's bad? It's generic mall pizza. Adequate, tastes OK and is satiating. If you're expecting god tier pizza then get the fuck out of the food court.

>> No.5746345

>>5746328
Is it really? Papa Murphy's is better, Papa John's is better; how many chains exactly is Sbarro better than? Pizza Hut maybe, Domino's, Chuck E Cheese? That's slightly above thinnest kid at fat camp tier.

>> No.5746353

>>5746322
Though the standard pizza is pretty blah, the stromboli are satisfying, you get a shit-ton of food for pretty cheap, and the marinara sauce for dippin' is steaming hot instead of cold. That definitely makes a difference.

I'm not sure why places like Sbarro and Olive Garden are so derided.

"Not real Italian food." Bitch, we're in America.

Yes. It's the Del Taco of pizza

It's more expensive than local pizzerias and tastes worse. Why even bother with it unless you live somewhere where they don't have decent pizza?

Del Taco is what Taco bell should be. Cheap, delicious garbage. Sbarro is just garbage.

Pretty average mall pizza. The only good version is to get a slice fresh out of the oven and not reheated. There other stuff which doesn't move as fast suffers from the same reheat trama.

>> No.5747664

When I was working in a mall I went there for lunch from time to time.

It's what you'd expect from mall pizza, a little cardboard but nothing awful.

Then I discovered this local place in the mall with some of the best pizza I've ever had, and wondered why anyone would ever eat at Sbarro.

>> No.5747670

>>5746354
Don't you be talking shit about muh Del Taco.

They're one of the last fast food chains that haven't jacked their prices up to an unreasonable level, and they still taste pretty good too.

Had it once in my life when i was in Egypt at an Airport, considering the fact the airport was actually a huge fucking tent the food wasn't that terrible but otherwise it's generic as fuck also what they call spaghetti and meatballs is fucking cold stale pasta in a plastic tray topped with two large meatballs that taste like stale bread and a spoonful of "marinara" .
4/10 would eat again only in a tent.

Sorry SoCal, Del Taco is bad. As bad as Taco Bell, anyway.

Still better than Filiberto's in AZ, though. That place is absolute shit. I'd much rather have Taco Bell or Del Taco.

It really is that bad to me and doesn't rate even close to chain stuff. If in NYC and had a choice between Sbarro with the constant sheen on its crap as if it's been sitting around for hours in some rat infested "restaurant" or pizza hut, I'd choose the latter everytime. That said in NYC, there's no reason to get any of that crap.

>> No.5748307

Good, they don't deserve to be around anymore.

It's actually pretty decent for mall food.

They're pricy though, and you can't find them anywhere anymore.

>> No.5748806

If you order it extra thin, extra crispy.

You can order it as you want, it's up to you if it from a proper place and not some chain shithole.

Nobody's forcing something up your ass like some chicago assholes pushiing shit whatever they call it up your assholes... We're from NY, they can piss of and be jealous.

>> No.5748810

You've forgotten the plot, we in NY don't care how you order it. We know that you're crap from other places sucks so deal with it.

Especially that chicago crap, that's fucking disgusting

>> No.5748813

Chicago assoles forcing shit pizza up other's assholes, isn't that like an obama type! MUAHAHAH! SO true!

The funny thing is some bitch clinton claiming that she's from New York when she's really from the shithole from Arkansas.

>> No.5748832

Since it's a franchise yes. Each franchisee runs his/her SBarro differently. The franchisee i worked for recycled everything. He would re-heat pizza and pasta for the next day.

>> No.5748849

>>5748832
sbarro, no, it's the same shit everywhere, not that've ever patronized more than a couple, but I've gone into more than a bunch and seen the same thing. The same thing that that's vile and disgusting.

The use for a sbarro in NYC is to use their toilet, I wouldn't buy anything from them.

They suck. Take it from someone who's dealt with them.

Sbarro is pretty disgusting.

Sometimes a company should take it's losses and go out of business and just stop. That's Sbarro. Just stop and die.

Kind of a stupid serial on TV that starts up but sucks, but in the end get's cancelled. Sbarro is cancelled.

>> No.5748867

I walk out of that place, it's a non issue in NYC. Deal with cunts at sbarro with their shit that doesn't even rate up to chain shit... hahahahahahahahahah, NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

See when you work for your own money, then you have a choice. Spending on Sbarro isn't in the cards. To each their own.

>> No.5748871

I would only have walked into one of those places because a girlfriend wanted to. I wouldn't otherwise be seen in one of those shitholes.

I like Sbarro when it's fresh. For me, everything depends on how fresh out of the oven it is. While attending college there was a Sbarro on campus and they had a "stuffed pizza" that looks kinda like the slice on the left in OP's pic, only larger with more sauce and toppings between the top and bottom crusts.

Just ordered some Domino's. Actually, driver just drove up!

Papa Murphy's is just a shitty little take and bake pizza chain.

The food isn't bad, and they do some pretty good specials on Tuesdays to keep the prices reasonable.

If I'm walking through the mall and I get thirsty I always go to Sbarro to get a drink because I feel sorry for them being abandoned all the time. Haven't actually eaten any of the food from them in about ten years, though.
