Can we have a pizza topping ranking thread? What toppings do you think are the best and worst? I love bacon, sausage, and banana peppers. i only like pepperoni if it's really spicy, pinneapple is ok with certain combinations, not a fan of olives or mushrooms, love onions but hate them on pizza for some reason, and I won't touch anchovies

pepperoni
white mushrooms
green bell peppers.

Ham and pineapple is the most polarizing topping ever. It's like the marmite of pizza.

Sausage. Now THIS is a topping. If you get it at a good place, which is to say a place where you can distinguish the pizza crust from the refrigerator magnet that came with it, it can be a truly rich and rewarding food experience. And if not, it still beats hell out of the bright red grease-saucers they call pepperoni.

I'm a greasy fat fuck that likes his Domino's pizza. I usually get Canadian bacon and pineapple or peppercini and steak or chicken and BBQ sauce.

By the way, how are anchovy toppings at fast food pizza chains? Been wanting to try them out, but I'm not sure if I should go to a higher quality one or if the fast food anchovies are okay enough to warrant ordering on a Domidangos pizza.

Any dish can be improved with the addition of either garlic or chocolate chips.

The power of garlic on pizza is such that adding garlic to pizza improves it even if there's ALREADY garlic on it. I've tested this theory recursively, adding ever more fresh garlic to my pizza, and I wasn't able to reach the point of diminishing returns before my mere exhalations started setting the pizza box on fire.

Damn fine pizza, though.

Sausage, onions and bell peppers. Props if the place uses caramelized onions.
