The price is that for a reason, retard. When you do inventory in a store, those numbers help you find out if they need to be sold faster.

.99 and .95 are regular pricing, .97 or .93 are discount, and almost always when it's about to be thrown away, thell make it end in .50.

besides, 17.57/16 is not 1.10 but 1.098125.

obviously the store rounded down and you rounded up, professor.

Think about it queerbait, if you treat your customers well, you get more people returning to your store as well as suggesting it to others.

That's not even that much weight.

>> No.5477988

you want them to overcharge the customers? That could be a huge scandal over a tiny fraction of amounts. Haven't you seen Office Space... (and Superman 3?)

I can tell by the way you do math that you are zero percent azn or Hebrew. Also, if you are going to sell an item by the ounce (clearly labeled 5oz portions) for consistency it would only make sense to charge by the ounce, therefore 1.098125 per ounce is the only logical answer. Furthermore, due to the fact that it is impossible to have .008125 cents the generally accepted practice of rounding to the nearest cent would bring us to the magical 1.10 per ounce.

no, man you're wrong lol... he did the math correctly. you're the one that 0 percent asian.

There is only one answer in math. That answer is 21.9625

And what you said was obvious American
> it is impossible to have .008125 cents
not when it's being carried over...
> generally accepted practice of rounding to the nearest cent
you round to the nearest cent AFTER THE TOTAL IS CALCULATED.

You do realize you've been paying 9/10ths of a penny MORE every gallon, right?

that 9/10 is the last digit of the price of gas, and is called a "mil". (pic related).

So you can DEFINITELY HAVE FRACTIONS OF CENTS... and rounding happens at the END, not the beginning.

They would never round off individual portions if they're calculating a price for 5 of them. That would defeat the whole point of rounding...

you are so fucking stupid. You must be underage because I can't believe the way your mind works. It's so fucking retarded. And it doesn't know things. And stuff.

clearly, at whatever shitty, devision three school you went to they didn't teach you about continuous rounding, which would easily compensate for the loss of un-rounded fractions within the progress of an existing calculation where the only correct answer is 22.00. I'm from washington. I though farm raised were basically hatchery fish they raise in a contained area then release them into the rivers as smolts. They then swim out to the ocean and come back as adults.

Grill it. Lemon pepper, orange zest, and olive oil. I like it basically rare. Overcooked is just so shit.

Make garlic mashed potatoes as side. Don't use specific recipe. Just boil a bunch of potatoes with skin on. Throw em in a big ole bowl. Mash em up by hand. Add butter, garlic, big heap of sour cream and a drizzle of milk. Adjust according until you're satisfied with flavor. Don't forget to add salt.

Broccoli or grilled asparagus for second side.

This is literally my go-to meal. If it's too cold to grill I just bake it instead.
