Let's talk about awesome condiments that are hard to find.

Case in point: Heinz mayo. You've probably seen packets of this stuff, but never bottles or jars. Wal-Mart is the only place I've found that carries it. It has a smoother, less overtly eggy taste than Hellmann's, and a less garlicky taste than Kraft. It's really a top-quality mayo and I'm amazed it doesn't get wider distribution.

For that matter, Heinz yellow mustard is also damned hard to find outside of packet form.

What are your examples?

I find Heinz yellow mustard in bigass multipacks at Sam's Club.

Not a condiment, but fuck I wish Vernor's ginger ale were more prolific.

Mah nigga. I once happened upon a packet of Heinz Mayo at a Culver's of all places, and since then it's the only Mayo I buy. Luckily my local grocery store has it i bottles. Not that I have anything against Wall 2 Wall Mart, but the local store is within walking distance.

Heinz Mayo is just so much more creamy and delicious. Hard to explain, but it's just better.

I've started putting a half teaspoon of minced garlic in all kinds of things.

An easy recipe of

>1 can short cut green beans, drained and washed
>1 beef bouillon cube
>water to cover beans

Heat it in the microwave, or on the stove. Add the garlic after it's hot. Very austere, but good.

Beaver brand Hot and Sweet mustard. Legit, this shit made the best sandwiches I had ever had in my entire life. Apparently it's a West coast thing? Fucking impossible to find on the East coast. I have to order this shit off Amazon but it's so fucking worth it. It's not like your typical yellow or even a brown mustard. It stings like horseradish but it's sweet, sour, savory and tangy. I have dreams about this shit. Not really, but you get the picture.

This. This shit. No one near me carries it, I had to order off Amazon. In my parents' hometown in western Illinois I could get it whenever I wanted.

If you haven't had it, it's fucking delicious. Don't let the "mayo-mustard" description fool you - there's definitely more to it than that. It's creamy and tangy and I use it on so many things. This being Memorial Day I expect it will end up on burgers.

It's probably true, you'd be amazed at what kinds of foods contain lead, arsenic, mercury, and other horrible things. It's not just tuna.

The question is whether the levels are high enough in the amounts of those foods that you eat where you'd actually need to avoid them. In most cases the answer is no.
