What do you use to make shit spicy?

Pic related. Its Cock Sauce.

Make me cry /ck/. I want something hotter.

>> No.5393692

I love me some good cocksauce, but literally anything with habanero is hotter. Ghost pepper is even better. I'm a big fan of Tropical Pepper Co. and Melinda's ghost pepper sauces.

Honestly, if I"m cooking, I prefer using whole fresh peppers to spice things up. But, hot sauces are nice for adding heat to already cooked foods.

I used to love that stuff and used it on everything, I 'discovered' it two years ago and it blew my mind, after that I came to realise the almost a cult like following associated with it. That didnt turn me off just made me respect it more.
Then it started getting boring, the heat was no longer hot enough, the depth of flavour wasnt deep enough, now its just mild and boring.

So ive started fucking with all sorts of chilli sauces and preserves, mostly I like using jars of seasoned hilli flakes in oil, i usually add fresh thai chilli from my garden to this.
Ive also been marking my own chilli sauces, easy as fuck now I kmow what I like in a sauce.

Don't treat it like normal hot sauce (at least until you're used to it). I like the flavor of Dave's compared to some more chemically ultra-hot sauces

How can anyone stand this stuff? It's like they took pic related, threw it in a blender with water and ketchup and marketed it to young people who don't know how to cook.

This. I'm undecided as to whether they've started watering it down and adding more sugar (if people use more, they sell more), or whether my taste has become accustomed to it. At this point, I use it in place of, and in similar amounts, to ketchup.
