You, I like.

Also, I want to add eggs, any form, any way. Hard boiled, soft boiled, fried, over easy, poached, sous vide, custard scrambled, hard scrambled, French or American omelette, "raw"(tamago kake gohan or carbonara), deviled, pickled... there are some many styles, all so good, it's virtually impossible to get tired or eggs.

Grilled hotdogs, with mustard. Everything about it, the bun, the mustard, the touch of "burnt" on it. It reminds me of summer days, and of family, and green grass. It helps that I find them incredibly tasty too. Just plain old fucking hotdogs and mustard. Some times cheese too, if I'm feeling saucy. Even with the watermark, this image makes me feel starving.

Recently I've been making two different sandwiches.

Number one:

I coarsely chop agaricus mushrooms, and finley chop garlic and onions, they fry it all together in butter. Add salt and pepper.

Fry an egg, however you want it.

Take two slices of bread, put olive oil in pan, put oregano, black pepper and salt on one side of each bread, brown it.

Put cheese on bottom bread, place egg on top, more cheese, then the fried mushrooms and onions, then fresh thyme and last a bit more cheese.

Put into oven, let cheese melt, take out, eat.

Number two:

One slice of bread (mind you, don't use regular shitbread, it has to be better than the toasterloafs, sourdough would be nice).

Butter the bread. Place salami on it, I prefer french with green pepper. Place mozarella on top of salami, add tomatoes and fresh basil. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over it, sprinkle seasalt and pepper over it.

Not that guy, but I think simple food could also mean simple to make. Pico de gallo is very simple to make and tastes really good. Stew is the same.

Like, stuff that isn't hard to make.

It isn't hard to fry mushrooms, onions and garlic, and then place them on a piece of bread, and then add cheese. It isn't even time consuming.

Agreed. So, conclusion: Simple could be few ingredients, or simple to cook. A mushroom and onion sandwich as described above is simple.
