the decaffeination process is just about washing the beans in water, this aside there's no difference with regular coffee. It taste a bit different than regular, good coffee, but it's perfertly fine.

Decaf is actually made with better quality beans. However, the decaf process destroys a lot of the taste of those beans and makes it taste similar to non-decaf.

The down side of decaf is that you're drinking a heavily processed bean. That, and that you're a fucking pussy. If you want something late at night just drink some goddamn tea.
