I'm a bit new to ck but I was hoping to get a bunch of the recipe images. First time in college without a meal plan and cooking everyday. Send whatever you have if you can.

This should be simple enough for you. Check the booru if you want more.

Start with staples, try out simple recipes, work your way out from there.

Recipes, you say?
Found this from here, 'bout a year ago, finally got around of baking it this weekend. Was the first banana bread I've ever tasted, it was suprisingly good.

Dried beans. You can stretch the shit out of them.

Soak them overnight. Cook the next day in an hour or two.

don't be afraid to go on youtube for tips on whatever you do, no matter how simple. does getting a round vegetable into little squares confuse you? youtube. How long does it take to get to 'golden brown'? youtube. you get the point. good luck man. also don't buy too much actual cooking gear. you'll want:
>a mid-size steel or cast-iron frying pan
>a small nonstick frying pan for eggs and breakfast stuff
>a 2 qt, thickbottomed pot with a tight fitting lid for rice and general tasks
>a metal baking tray
>a casserole of any size or shape
>a cutting board
>tongs, wood mixing spoon, rubber spatula
>a chef's knife, if you don't have one get a Dexter or a Victorinox

saving to give to people later, i've been meaning to draw something like that up but never found the time.

I lived off this throughout college and it's still a go-to fast, cheap dinner:
couple of red potatoes
small head of broccoli
three carrot
Clean the carrots, wash the potatoes, chop them both up and put them over some simmering H2O in a steamer basket (like 50 cents @ any market). While those are cooking, wash and chop the broccoli.

If you have extra money, buy an onion and some mushrooms, chop up and sautee the onion then add the mushroom. Cook the broccoli. Put it all on a plate, voila, dinner, cheap, good for you, easy and fast.

Next time: salads. You cannot go wrong with salads. Buy a salad spinner and some condoms, since chicks *love* salads and "Would you like to come over for a salad?" is a near surefire way to get laid

You're welcome for the time I spent typing that out. I've lost count how often I've gotten laid. I won't bother mentioning that every guy in college ought to buy himself a decent crepe pan and learn how to make crepes.

You've never gotten laid in your life, have you? Sheesh(tm). Enjoy your life, partner.
