Frosted or unfrosted? Why?

>> No.5129373

Pop tarts taste of despair.

Plz dont.

>> No.5129585

I prefer Frosted. I like heating up the unfrosted though, and then adding a bit of butter. Tastes like a cheap fruit biscuit/turnover. The cinnamon ones with butter are tasty and kinda like a cinnamon roll.

Frosted however, are best from the freezer. It makes the Frosting crunchy and awesome.

Frozen Cherry master race.

Anon...you're alright.
I love me a pop tart in the middle of the day when I'm craving sugar.
I still can't believe they still market them as a breakfast food. They are sugary snacks that should be in individual packs. My sister gives my nephew pop tarts for breakfast and I'm like "You wonder why he's hyper and shits his pants everyday." Not only are they not filling as a breakfast they will cause your little bastard to crash midday at school. Why would a person do this to their own child. I'm an adult male and I wouldn't eat a two of these fuckers in one sitting. Imagine a little kid with a semi-empty stomach of sugar and carbs.

Its hard to find a shittier food than poptarts. I can't believe any parent would willingly serve this trash to their kid. Lets take a look at the stats shall we?

Calories 205
Calories from Fat 45
Total Fat 5.0g 8%
Saturated Fat 1.5g 8%
Polyunsaturated Fat 0.7g
Monounsaturated Fat 2.9g
Cholesterol 0mg 0%
Sodium 165mg 7%
Carbohydrates 37.5g 12%
Dietary Fiber 0.5g 2%
Sugars 16.5g
Protein 2.0g

Not too bad you say? This is for 1 poptart. No one eats just 1 poptart, they come in pairs so everything here is doubled. Fucking 72.5 grams of carbs in a food smaller than the size of my fist. 410 calories in something that won't make a dent in your appetite. They need to tax dumb foods like this to pay for fat peoples surgery.

Pop tarts are legitimately the shittiest foods you can eat

Ridiculously calorie dense, hardly any nutritional value, extremely sugary/spikes blood sugar, and two tarts does not satiate hunger at all in the long term. Plus taste-wise, even as a snack food, they're just okay at best.

People can be fucking retarded. My mom would let me eat a pop tart or bowl of shitty cereal for breakfast but would get unhappy when my dad would cook bacon, eggs, and sausage or ham because that was "unhealthy". Sure bacon and eggs aren't something you should gourge on err day but I think its alot better than a damn pop tart.

Eggs are literally one of the healthiest proteins you can eat. Ever seen a Japanese man with diabetes? They're batshit for eggs over there, they eat them in everything - sometimes raw just mixed into rice. Eggs just got a bad name because of some bullshit junk science from the past.

I would normally answer this question with neither, but the quality of Toaster Strudels has become so bad that my family has just stopped buying them all together. You get less icing, the filling isn't as good, and now it doesn't even unfreeze all the way without burning the outside. They both suck now

I'm no fan of Pop Tarts, but every once in a while I buy a box of some odd flavor to try and understand why I loved them as a child. Last ones I liked were the "Limited Edition" Apple Pie ones. (WTF is it with these limited edition foods anyway...) My latest fling with these horrid rectangles of tasteless dough, those new "nutty" peanut butter ones are actually pretty tasty, for Pop Tarts. I bought the unfrosted ones.
