Informal survey time.
Which restaurant gives you the most severe, gut-twisting, eye-bulging, gas-pedal-to-the-floor-all-the-way-home, oh-my-god-I-can't-believe-I-made-it-in-time diarrhea of your life?

Thai, usually.

if you are experiencing frequent diarrhea you should probably see your doctor. you do have insurance right? if not, your health problems are probably complications from poverty diet.

I don't get diarrhea unless Im sick.

This. Or if there was an actual problem with the food. I'm pretty sure the taco shits thing is a joke gone too far.

Chipotle. Seriously. Don't get the hot salsa. At least they have free bathrooms.

BK is the only restaurant that has ever done that tome.

I eat out about 10 times a week and have been doing so for nearly a decade. I probably have eaten at around 300 restaurants in the last 5 years, in 9 countries. I've gotten diarrhea 3 times. once was from street food in a small town in Indonesia. the other two times were due to cross contamination in my own kitchen. I put a stop to some bad habits related to meat handling after the second self inflicted liquid shits.

I don't understand people who blame their diarrhea on restaurants. you either have exceptionally bad judgment or an exceptionally fucked up body.

Restaurants don't give me diarrhea. Then again, a restaurant that would give me diarrhea has probably already killed someone and been shut down.

Sbarro Pizza.

Every time I've ever eaten there, I've gotten sick as fuck. There's no way that's a coincidence.

Usually Whoppers for whatever reason, while not tasting great, the other crap on the menu doesn't do it.

mcdonalds
other than that it's kind of a crap shoot as to what foods might upset my bowels

I've only rarely had Sbarros, maybe twice, but I totally agree.

I'm usually pretty good with handling fast food otherwise, though that probably isnt a good thing. Crappy chinese usually gets me, but I feel thats a more universal thing. I really need to stop eating it.

Literally any fast food chain.

I stopped eating fast food about 3 years ago, and literally any time I have it, it's a fucking anal evacuation. I only eat it against my better judgement or if I'm super strapped for cash.

>Out with friends, didn't eat dinner
>Super hungry but don't want to bug friends to go to a place, most of them are also low on cash like I was at the time
>Fuck it, I'll get wendy's
>Buy some of their shit, eat it
>Back at my friends place an hour or so later
>Literally heeving in his bathroom trying not to throw up
>Putrid diarrhea, sweating, have a headache
>etc

It was so terrible, I was in there for 50mins+.

I think it might be people misidentifying and/or exaggerating stool inconsistencies, as they eat this food and that, as actual diarrhea

in the spirit of the thread, 3 different subways in 3 different states have given me food poisoning over the last decade. and it's always while on some kind of long trip too

I stopped eating fast food for a few months a while ago and I had a similar, but less violent reaction. Probably because we're not really meant to ingest that much fat and sugar and shit.

>> No.5128094

Wendy's is occasionally iffy, but usually it's just their burgers. Taco Bell is always a gamble.

I think part of it is having a weak tolerance for certain "food", but it's mostly from people not properly handling and cooking the food.

A friend and I both got severe food poisoning from a KFC mashed potato bowl once. Puked and shit until near death. Never again.

>> No.5128097

for those of you getting frequent diarrhea, how many times does it happen per year? when you say X restaurant "usually" gives you diarrhea, can you break that down in terms of the number of visits, both diarrhea inducing and non diarrhea inducing? and what do you do for a living? I'm suddenly very curious about the lives of people who consider this normal and who keep going back over and over so as to be able to speak of a favorite place to eat and then have explosive bowel movements as if it's something that happens to everyone.

thanks in advance.

For me it happens with lots of processed foods. If I cook my own stuff from scratch I poo cabers but if I eat stuff like jarred sauces or ramen it's like explosive decompression of the contents of my anus.

The Sheraton Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan.
I have better luck eating the food from street vendors than eating there. Unfortunately our boss loves to throw his business parties at that place for all holidays.
3 times I nearly shit my pants due to the greasy oil they use with fish, or possibly from sharing the community dinnerware from the buffet.
Hate that place, but they got some awesome dessert selections.
