What stews have you made during this cold winter week?
I made chili a couple days ago, and just today, made some creamy cheesy beery soup with chicken, carrots, and celery.

I'll make the ultimate hipster stew:

DECONSTRUCTED STEW- steak, potatoes, onions, and green beans.

Don't blend them into white trash stew!

just eat them...

it will cost much more than the leftoevers they sweep off the kitchen floor into the pot to make this 'winter murikin stew' in yrup is great delikicy so good in conmunis block

Colombo Curry hit's the spot, with plenty of chocolate habaneros in it.

This is from Dave DeWitt's book which I have somewhere around. There used to be these things called book stores in NYC, now it's a wasteland.

Thanks to someone asking a cheese question and mentioning something called 'pizza soup' I made my own version. I ate it all this week. It was awesome. Basically it was a tomato based soup with oregano, basil and fennel seed as the spices and garlic, onion, pizza toppings and then topped with cheese. It was really delish.
