Vegan here. Good thing you left OP. I fucking hate people who are showy vegans and try to rub it in other people's faces and people who do it to try and seem unique (fucking indiepop). Vegan pizaa is actually good if you cook it yourself and know what you are doing. Don't judge other vegans based on a single experience you had.

My problem with these vegan versions (not foods that just happen to be vegan) is that they aren't like other dishes where you can't say one is better just they are different. Like it would be dumb comparing pizza to barbecue to sushi because they are all good but totally different. The vegan versions invite the comparison by using the real product in their name and they are always worst. I just don't see the point
