Potted meat is wht you could call "Poor Man's Pâté". It fits the description, but its really just the lips and peckers of whatever Armour has leftover after making hot dogs and crap like that.

I used to eat it quite a bit when I was little. As I got older something about the texture and smell really started to put me off. Also its a little heavy on the nitrites and those give me headaches.

I made a road trip up that way from the east coast. Canada would let us in due to having priors, so we went to the PNW. Bought a fuck huge salmon for 5 dollars from so bearded davy crocket type. They're smaller, and they have "spread" (aka thousand island dressing) on them. The toppings are nice and fresh, which is great, but for the love of god, skip the fries. Worst fries ever.
