I want to take one of these to have with lunch, but I don't want it to be too bland. What can I add to yogurt that's fairly cheap to make it a tasty snack?

This. Flavoured yoghurt is essentially yoghurt + jam. You can just add it yourself. Though softer/spreadable stuff like strawberry/raspberry/blueberry works a lot better than super gelatinous jams (like peach or pomegranate or marmalade) that don't blend in and just sit as little flavour chunks.

add some honey

yoghurt and honey is one of those simple things that make me very happy. especially greek yoghurt and honey

>> No.4994442

Yoghurt and instant coffee is also pretty good, if you like coffee flavored things. I used to eat that on the daily.

I add honey and rolled oats to yogurt. Sometimes nuts and dried fruits too.

It needs to blend. Chocolate chips wouldn't blend. You're strange.

Sugar and vanilla extract,
Sugar and instant coffee,
Trail mix and oats,
etc.

I actually rarely used to buy flavored yoghurt, I'd use the plain one as sour cream (used to buy 14% fat one), and flavor some for other uses.

Greek/Turkish yogurt + honey + those bags of frozen fruit for smoothies half way thawed = bliss.

>> No.4995060

Why not just buy yogurt that tastes of something to begin with? It's not as though there is any lack of such at Tesco's.

>> No.4995133

Too late now but next year harvest blackberries and freeze them. We had a fuckton in the garden this year and I regret not having done it. Also, get Greek (style) yogurt OP.
