Theres nothing wrong with telling fatties that they need to lay off the snacks now and then.

I'm not much of a gamer anymore due to financial situation but when I was, the stuff I liked to have during all-nighters consisted of

>coffee(any kind, I like iced coffee or any sort of canned coffee from the store was good. highly recommend starbucks doubleshots)
>water(any form of caffeine will dehydrate the fuck out of you so you need water)

I don't eat when I game.

>> No.4890493

>>4890481
That's cool. I too have a bad days at work. That's why I sometimes just lock myself in on the weekends and get lost in gaming. I wish I could do it for a living, but I'm not good enough and the reality is that I have to work to keep up a resemblance of reality outside of my love of gaming.

What do you like to snack on while gaming?

There are a million ways to say the truth, anon. Telling people that they're fatties who need to lay off the snacks is not the most diplomatic or effective way to say it.

>>4890493
Well, it depends. I kind of go through cravings. Sometimes I'll make a meat and cheese platter with some crackers and veggies, sometimes I make kettle corn or cheese popcorn (which can get messy, but I use the chopstick trick, lol). I love drinking iced tea while I game, but sometimes, for convenience sake, I'll buy a couple of gallon jugs of Arizona Arnold Palmer instead of making my own. I also like making some white bean - garlic dip and eating it with hard breadsticks, carrots and celery. Sometimes I'll order pizza or chinese food, too. Those are classics.

Yeah they left me a bit of money (split four ways). Yet I still paid off my small house, put on a new roof, and re-sided it, and I'm still at the same shitty job I had before they became sick.

so this weekend (which started today at 4pm) i got a 2L of coke, two bags of chips (salt/vinegar, jalapeno), and a lot of feel-good 'luxury' items, basically shit i don't need but like getting. box of quinoa, brick of feta for my salads, some pepperoni and summer sausage, some boudin.. some other stuff too but i've already forgotten.

I dont game much anymore due to kids & long work hours but I was huge into mmo's
Whenever a new one released I would stock up on bottled water, pot, red bull, 5 hour energy shots, trail mix with almonds & yogurt drops
I would also make a large batch of something that held well that I could just take a plate worth from & heat up. Chili was one of my favorites. Usually get some tortilla chips to dip

Usually I get off work on Friday super hungry and tired and go ham on takeout. I eat a small portion and use the rest for the weekend.
This is normally a Jets deep dish pepperoni black olive and sweet pepper deep dish za or Thai food. I Get spring rolls and dr.pepper. I'll nibble on a big Pad See Ew (Phat Si Io), and save the rest for the next days lunch/ dinner. As for snacks and stuff I really like greens + chocolate covered energy bar, pineapple chunks, soy chai tea latte from starbucks ( maybe a cookie too) , jimmie john's vito sammich, or the new southwest premium mcwrap at mcdonalds.

As do I, my Captain. As do I. Seriously though, I see the hottest women I see all day at Trader Joe's, and they are all much older than me. I've gotten into it and conversed with them in the aisles and waiting in line, I'm almost certain I'll meet a fuck at Trader Joe's pretty soon. All those birds are older, well off and married. I'm not so well off, handsome, and make enough $ to shop at Trader Joe's.

Usually only stock up like that for weekend long parties (Fri night through till midday Sunday). Just hours of board games, mario kart, mario party, movies and the like.

I generally stock up on alcohol; mostly vodka, berry pear cider, blue curaco, sour puss, and other sweet mixers. I'm a fatty, and I love sweet sugary drinks. I'd probably be an alcoholic if I wasn't poor, I love getting drunk.
Sometimes a few bag of chips (miss vickies any flavour, smokey bacon lays chips, smart pop white cheddar, crunchy cheetos seem to be our faves) or mix bucket of wedges, jalapeno poppers, onion rings and wings from the grocery store, but stuff like that doesn't last long with 5-8 people around.
Generally for meals we all order in something big and everybody pays for themselves; greek, chinese, pizza, or thai.
Man, I can't wait till the next big get together. Probably will be on New Years.

I don't have personal gaming sessions anymore cause I never have time now that I have a job and bills to pay.
My long gaming sessions as a young teen were fueled by popcorn and lots of vanilla coke.

So sorry, you'll deal with it everyday for the rest of your life.

Be reassured that you'll feel better over time.

I guess what makes it hurt the most is continually trying not to forget them, which reopens those hard memories that you are going through now.

You want to be happy, yet you don't want to forget all those grand memories, the sound of their voices; everything that makes you what you are now.

Give it time, take it slow, never forget, and try to be happy again.

They wouldn't want it any other way, and if there is an afterlife... I'm sure they miss you as much as you do.

I think there's some questionable things going on here.

"They found that the overweight people who reported experiencing weight discrimination were more than twice as likely to become obese by the next check-in in 2010."

For a 5'9 male, the "overweight" range runs from 169 to 202 pounds. At the lower end of this spectrum, you're almost never going to find someone who experienced weight discrimination, and almost never going to hit obese by next check in. At the upper end, you're much more likely to have both these things happen. Skimming through the study, it doesn't appear that they controlled for this.

So try to take it with a grain of salt, I think.
