It's their whole fucking "You're not worthy" gimmick.

It's like saying "Our beer isn't shit, you just have shit taste buds."

But in reality, their beer isn't that great. It lacks in many areas and they need to stop hyping their piece of shit "Enjoy by whatever" beers because people buy into that fad when they are really just using the appeal of "limited edition" in beer.

Other than that though, their beers are ok. Always the starter/intro to the craft beer world.

I'ts like..there's no subtlety to their beers at all. I pretty much have to have their beers with food because after having one by itself I just feel, I dunno, not very good.

Actually I should also clarify that I did a couple of days ago try their tenth anniversary Ruination the "Ruinten" limited release that they just came out with.

It's a local brew to Michigan.

I like it because it tastes great, not to bitter and not to sweet.

It's also about 9% abv. Whats not to like?

You ever find yourself in the detroit area (god help you) stop by dragonmead (a microbrewery/pub) and pick up a bottle or a growler.

first time I had this it tricked it me

the initial taste is great, even the first drink isn't bad

the farther you make it into the bottle though the worst it tastes

least thats my experience with it

Stone is pretty good, but it's wildly overpriced. I work for a beverage distributor in New England and our price is 40/case on stone IPA. That's 10 bucks per six pack WHOLESALE

I what I am currently drinking.
Honestly, anything by Rahr & Sons and Real Ale brewing companies I have not been disappointing. I am not saying they are the best, but reliable products in any category. Stone brewery overall I would say is my favorite from them is their sublimely self-righteous ale

The don't fuck around beer.

Shit makes me incredibly bloated and gives me the most unforgivable headache if I try to down 2 in an hour.
Still my favorite beer
