Microwave is for reheating or boiling only.

Anything cooked in a microwave is going to taste like shit compared to properly baking, grilling, frying, or sauteeing.

(I will admit that there are probably a tiny number of exceptions to the later rule, but frankly they are so rare and far between that they can easily be ignored, and for the sake of teaching newbs, simple is good.)

before you make pot-brownies or pot-anything:
-melt butter
-add your weed
-let simmer for 20 minutes
-cool in fridge for 1.5 hours

use the hardened weed-butter for cooking

otherwise it WILL taste like vomit, because you actually eat the warm plants, instead of the heated active THC...

Heat butter and water, add finely ground weed, simmer for an hour or so, strain through a filter (cheesecloth/t shirt/etc) into a container, put in fridge, let water and lipid separate, drain the water.

Eating weed is retarded, you need to extract with a fat or alcohol.

this. theres exceptions to it though. When I was younger me n my friends were having a party and decided to bbq up some burgers. We used chop meat and mixed about a quarter into it for about 1 gram per burger. I guess the grease from the burgers cooking worked to make some weed butter. The buds were still in the meat and everything but it tasted glorious and got us higher than hell.

I simmer for more like 3 hours. And I add plenty of water so the butter doesnt burn. It separates right out when its cooled.
