You're gonna need a hose, a wet-dry vac (take the filter out first for the wet setting), an assload of paper towels (I would just go to the hardware store and get an econo bundle), some vinegar solution in a spray bottle, and maybe get some febreze or something to make it pretty.

Fuck...at first I thought a shopvac would help, but don't use one from a home. Go to a carwash place and use one of their big vaccums to get most of the sludge and chunks, then you're gona have to spend a lot of time with rags and water, wiping and rinsing.

Never buy a used car that smells like the seller hosed it down with air freshener. I did that once and after the smell wore off, it smelled like what I suspect anon's car will smell like by late spring. I think its fuckin baby formula or milk or something, its disgusting. The car must have also sat for a long time because the heater/AC vents smell like barf too.

Its OK OP, it could be much worse. My freshmen year of college I got drunk and went to a Long John Silvers. The malt vinegar was so good that I decided to steal an entire bottle to take home with me. I threw it in my back seat and forgot about it until the next day. Apparently the lid wasn't screwed on well.

The ENTIRE bottle of that stank-ass malt vinegar leaked out over the back seat of my car and seeped into the fabric and cushioning. You cannot imagine the smell, pungent and sickly would be an understatement. Worst of all I live in Texas and it was the middle of summer. Everyday the vinegar festered and smelled worse and worse. There was no covering the smell, it was bad. People would gag and heave when riding in my car even with the windows down. You could smell it walking towards the car from about 15 yards away. It was worse than the worst B O.

Took about 6 months to mostly disappear, I don't think I got laid for awhile.

If OP is an enterprising anon, they should remove the seat (be careful with the electrical connections/harnesses, they put sensors in car seats to tell your air bag if and how hard to pound the poor anon sitting in front of it, and to remind you to put your seatbelt on).

Remove the carpet. Get a bunch of this stuff called Dynamat. Its a heat absorbing asphaltish sorta sheeting you can put on the metal. Its a sound absorber (sound turns into heat when absorbed). Then cover it over with some self adhesive carpet. They sell it already moulded to the shape of your floor. Car looks great, smells better than when you started, and gets rid of a lot of road noise.

Then get some seat covers. Then get some shit called SprayLat. Sprayable latex. You spray it on acrylic or glass, but out your design with an exacto, then it acts as a stencil so you can spray paint. Spray down the inside of your seat cover, let it dry, then put it over the seat.

All set.

Funnily enough, Textured Vegetable Protein goes well in chili. Use 1-1/3 lb mid-grade ground beef (drain liquid & fat after it cooks out) with 2/3 c TVP — then add beans or don't, I could give a fuck; but I would add a drained can of black beans — add canned tomatoes, chopped jalapenos (the heat will dissipate throughout the dish), seasonings, etc. Add beer, if you think it has a noticeable effect.

Simmer dat moffuckah a few hours.

I did that once. but I have a Honda Element so the floor is fucking rubber. took like 3 mins to clean up.

My last 3 cars over the past 13 years have been sticks. Only reason I get those is to save some $. Chicks, adults, and sensible people either have no interest or have gotten over the novelty so there is less of a market for them. Otherwise, I greatly dislike them. And I'm leary of buying them now because most of them you see nowadays are all niggered out with mods, gadgetry, spoilers, and have generally been used as toys so you can bet the brakes and clutch will be worn to a nub from all that badassery from the previous owner's son.
