not sure if this is the right board to post in, but--

Which consumers less $/energy? Toaster oven or a gas oven?

I'm always using the gas oven for small things like 1 potato, kale chips, etc. I would think that a gas oven is more costly, considering you have to wait for it to pre-heat and it's the whole oven it's heating... With the toaster oven, it's a small box that seems to get heated quickly.
